The P\u0159erov volleyball club enters the new season with a significant strengthening. The new general partner is the investment and development company RC Europe. Financial stability is one of the key priorities of the club. <\/p>\n\n
The partnership is intended to bring economic stability to the club. One of the co-owners of RC Europe, Jan Prokop, also becomes a member of the club’s executive committee, which confirms the company’s deeper interest in actively supporting volleyball in P\u0159erov. “So far we have agreed on cooperation for the upcoming season. During the season we will evaluate whether the partnership meets the expectations of both parties. If it does, we are ready to discuss longer-term support,” said Jan Prokop. <\/p>\n\n
For the upcoming season, the budget has been increased, which will allow us to strengthen the player roster, improve the facilities and focus on youth work. “Bringing a strong partner into our club has always been our goal and working with such a strong and respected partner is a huge boost for us. We believe that with RC Europe we will be able to stabilize the club not only financially, but also sportingly and organizationally,” says the club’s chairman Ond\u0159ej Friedl. <\/p>\n\n
“P\u0159erov has tradition, energy and potential. We believe that together we can move the club forward, not only in terms of sport, but also in terms of community. RC Europe supports projects that make sense,” adds Prokop. <\/p>\n\n
Emphasis on youth, Czech players and a strong core of the team<\/strong><\/p>\n\n Volleyball players from P\u0159erov will continue in the upcoming season in the Women’s Extraliga. However, the club enters the new season with a clear plan and that is to focus on Czech players, create a solid core of the team and strengthen the club’s identity in the long term. <\/p>\n\n “We want to scout and groom players for the future. Our vision is to have a stable team axis that we will only add to. It’s not a revolution, but a gradual development that will take a few years,” Friedl said. The goal is to build a strong base, and by taking gradual steps we will strive to make volleyball as exciting as possible in P\u0159erov for kids, players, fans and partners. <\/p>\n\n In the future, the club wants to put more emphasis on working with youth and purposefully educate players who would gradually become a stable part of the A-team. Therefore, the club has engaged a new youth coordinator Aneta Tobi\u00e1\u0161ov\u00e1, who will set up a systematic approach to work with girls’ categories. <\/p>\n\n The city will also support the facilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The town of P\u0159erov has been striving for a long time to improve the sports facilities and modernise the Municipal Sports Hall. Already this year it is planned to install a large screen, a new sound system and modifications to the air conditioning. Other improvements are also in the pipeline, such as replacing the decking, reconstructing the toilets and fibre optic connections. All with the aim of bringing the hall up to current sports standards. <\/p>\n\n P\u0159erov volleyball has long held one of the best crowds and attendance in the entire league. The club appreciates the support of the fans and wants to continue to work to fill the hall regularly. The management also thanks all partners, especially the city of P\u0159erov and the Olomouc Region, for their long-term support. <\/p>\n\n “We want volleyball to become a sport in P\u0159erov that people relate to, whether as players, fans, partners or families.
