RC Zone Přerov has obtained a final building permit. RC Europe builds on its success in Croatia

September 29, 2026

The RC Zone Přerov project has reached a significant milestone. In August 2026, it received a final building permit, and RC Europe is now preparing to begin construction, which is scheduled for this fall.

A new industrial complex will be built between the site of the former Přerovské strojíren and the Henčlov district, approximately 300 meters from the D1 highway exit. The project will feature three separate warehouses with a total leasable area of approximately 48,400 m², intended primarily for manufacturing and related warehousing. Thanks to its location between Brno and Ostrava, the complex will provide efficient access not only to the Czech market but also to Poland, Slovakia, and Austria.

Experiences from Samobor are heading to Přerov

In developing the RC Zone Přerov project, RC Europe aims to build on the experience and success of its RC Zone Samobor industrial project in Croatia. The first phase of that project, covering an area of approximately 43,000 m², was completed in 2025 and fully leased even before the project was finished. Tenants include DSV, dm-drogerie markt, Milšped, Logaritam, and Commel.

At the same time, RC Zone Samobor is moving forward with its second phase. Once completed, the entire complex will feature more than 90,000 m² of modern industrial and warehouse space. The total investment in the project exceeds 100 million euros.

RC Europe also plans to apply the experience gained during the development of Samobor to the project in Přerov—particularly in the areas of technical solutions, energy, and the coordination of technologies and requirements for large-scale manufacturing and logistics operations.

“We don’t view Přerov as a copy of Samobor. Every market and every project has different conditions. What we want to bring over is our approach: a high-quality location, adequate energy and technical infrastructure, high-standard buildings, and, above all, the ability to tailor the project to the tenant’s actual operations. Samobor shows that this approach works,” says Antonín Dillenz, CEO of RC Europe for the Czech Republic and Croatia.

Nearly 50,000 m² of modern industrial space

RC Zone Přerov is being developed primarily with the needs of manufacturing companies and their supply chains in mind. The project calls for a clear height of 12 meters, a column grid of 12 × 24 meters, and an industrial floor load-bearing capacity of 7 t/m². Energy efficiency will also be a key component of the project—the buildings will utilize zero-emission heating systems, and the roofs are designed to support large-scale electricity generation from photovoltaic sources. RC Europe plans to pursue certification under the BREEAM Outstanding standard.

The total investment in RC Zone Přerov will exceed one billion crowns. Construction will take place in phases, and depending on the scope of each phase, the project is expected to take approximately 12 to 14 months to complete.

Construction of the RC Zone in Přerov is scheduled for fall 2026.
